A Genshin Impact leak shows how the upcoming Fontaine character Neuvillette will move in game. Neuvillette is known to be coming in update 4.1.
A new Genshin Impact leak shows that Fontaine’s Chief Justice, also known as Neuvillette, will have full gaming animations when he comes out. So far, he has been in several promotional videos for the game, which suggests that Neuvillette will have a very important part in the new Archon Quest.

Even though this character is getting a lot of attention, HoYoverse has stated that he won’t be the only new character added in update 4.1.The official social media accounts for Genshin Impact have announced that another popular character named Wriothesley will join Neuvillette. Wriothesley is confirmed to be the game’s first Cryo Catalyst user.

A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit shows Neuvillette’s complete gameplay animations. Even though developer HoYoverse did not specify his rarity, the fact that he has a close-up animation on his Elemental Burst confirms that he will be a new five-star character in Genshin Impact. Just like the recently released five-star Pyro user Lyney, Neuvillette will have a unique Charged Attack. Many fans in the comment section actually prefer his CA over Lyney’s since it allows Neuvillette to float in the air while charging up a powerful Hydro beam attack that deals tons of damage. While this attack seems very powerful, it will cause the character to lose HP while performing it, however, the debuff is capped at 50% HP.

Since Neuvillette is a Hydro user, most of his skills will grow with his HP. This means that his Health bar will probably be full, and a special boss attack won’t be able to kill him in one hit. Neuvllette’s Elemental Skill will cause a blast in front of him that does AoE Hydro damage. If this skill hits an opponent, it will give them 3 Sourcewater Droplets, which they can use to charge up their CA faster.
At the end of the skill’s motion, a Spiritbreath Thorn will appear above the enemy it hurt, dealing more Hydro damage.Neuvillette’s Elemental Burst will send out a wave that breaks apart and gives AoE Hydro damage that seems to scale with his max HP.
The rage of this ability seems to be like “Distant Dreams, Listening Spring,” a burst that a Hydro user named Nilou can use. Neuvillette’s Elemental Burst seems to last much less time than related skills like Childe’s Riptide Blast, which stays on the field for a couple of seconds.
Genshin Impact can be played on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices right now. A version for the Switch is in the works.
