A native of Warren, Pennsylvania, Maryelen brought her warmth and grace to Tallahassee in 1987, transitioning from her previous residence in Ft. Lauderdale.

Her legacy lives on through her sons: Randy (Ginny) of Grays Lake, Illinois; Larry of Winnetka, Illinois; Tracey of Tallahassee; and her daughter: Connie Pitts of Tallahassee. Her spirit also lives within her cherished grandchildren: Jamie Pitts, Kerry (Kevin) Smith, Nick (Jenni), Chris (Natalie), Zoe, Alicia, Alex, and Ellen. Additionally, her numerous great-grandchildren carry forward her love and spirit, a testament to the impact she had on generations.
As we bid farewell to Maryelen Evangelides, we remember her as a devoted mother, a dedicated professional, and a source of inspiration to all who knew her. Her memory will forever remain etched in our hearts, and her contributions to our lives will continue to guide and uplift us.
