The Early Life Of Druski

Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, was born on September 12, 1994, in Columbia, Maryland. He comes from a family with a background in aviation and diplomacy. His mother, Cheryl Desbordes, worked for the State Department, while his father, David McLain Desbordes, was a commercial pilot who held positions as an Air Force captain and a National Guard major.

He spent his formative years growing up in Gwinnett County, Georgia. During his childhood, Druski was active in sports and managed to stay out of trouble, although he had a penchant for cracking jokes in class.

Druski attended South Gwinnett High School, specifically South Gwinnett High School Number 6. He graduated on schedule, thanks in part to an arrangement with his Spanish teacher, Nancy Gordeuk, who allowed him to write a relatively easy paper that counted as two years’ worth of Spanish coursework, enabling him to earn his diploma on time.

After high school, he enrolled at Georgia Gwinnett College before eventually transferring to Georgia Southern University. However, he faced a period of personal struggle and lost interest in his studies, opting to spend his time watching YouTube videos instead. As a result, he discontinued his college education after completing two semesters.

Originally pursuing a major in Sports Analytics with aspirations of becoming a sportscaster, Druski eventually heeded the advice of friends who encouraged him to explore comedy, leading him to embark on a career in entertainment.
