Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Leaks New Character

El Tigre has been revealed as a new character in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, fueling speculation about a sequel to the 2021 cartoon-themed party fighting game. While the original Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl didn’t make a huge splash in the gaming world, it garnered praise for its Super Smash Bros-style gameplay and a roster featuring beloved characters from shows like SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Critics noted the game’s limited gameplay variety but recognized the potential for improvement in a sequel.

In recent months, rumors about Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 have gained traction, supported by leaked images of potential new characters such as Squidward from SpongeBob SquarePants and Danny Phantom from the eponymous show. Speculation mounted that GameMill, the publisher of All-Star Brawl, might officially announce the sequel later this month. More characters were recently leaked, including Jimmy Neutron from Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Vlad Plasmius from Danny Phantom, and Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

A new potential character addition for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has emerged in a recent leak shared by Reddit user Own_Philosopher_2008: El Tigre from the 2007 animated series “El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera.” The leaked image depicts Manny’s heroic alter-ego engaged in battle with Garfield, who was introduced as a free DLC character in the original All-Star Brawl in December 2021. What makes this leak even more intriguing is that it was later shared by Jorge R. Gutierrez, the creator of El Tigre, on Twitter. Furthermore, Thaddeus Crews, the lead developer of All-Star Brawl, responded to the leak, lending further credibility to it and the existence of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 in general.

Prior to the recent leak regarding Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, Jorge R. Gutierrez had dropped hints that characters from “El Tigre” might be joining “a certain fighting Nick game” during a social media Q&A session just last week. This strongly suggests that El Tigre could indeed be making a comeback in the sequel.

The growing curiosity of fans about a potential follow-up to All-Star Brawl has been fueled by the ongoing rumors, and the fact that these leaks are being shared and commented on by prominent figures like Jorge R. Gutierrez adds substantial weight to the existence of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. However, GameMill has yet to make an official announcement regarding the sequel.

In any case, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has the potential to address areas where players felt the first game lacked variety, both in terms of gameplay and the playable character roster.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
