More About Chad Miller
Chad Eric Miller, the son of Earl and Ruth (Erickson) Miller, was born on May 16, 1966, in Ada, Minnesota. Chad lived in Twin Valley, Minnesota, until he was five years old. He then moved to Perham, where he grew up on Paul Lake. When he was seven, he learned how to waterski. He went to high school in Perham and finished in 1984. Chad’s first job was at Barrel O’ Fun, where he did almost every job. In 2016, he got his boiler license and worked there until 2022, when he retired because of cancer.
Chad met his wonderful wife Cora in 2011. After 17 years of fishing events for walleye, he was finally ready to settle down. One of the best things to ever happen to him was to meet Cora and fall in love with her. When Chad married Cora, he got a great stepson with whom he could hunt, fish, and hang out. James gave Chad the chance to take care of his two grandkids. Chad loved spending time with Russell and Sawyer, and he taught them everything he knew. He also had a lot of fun times with his nieces and nephews. Chad and Cora’s house near Marion Lake was a great place for them to live, and Chad loved spending time with Cora.
Surviving Chad are his wife Cora; stepson James (Emma) Olson; grandchildren Russell and Sawyer Olson; sister JoAnn (Denny) Iverson; brother Ron (Robin) Miller; sister-in-law Vicki Miller; his nieces and nephews Matt (Kathie) Miller, Fara (Mike) Loge, Kim (Dan) Doyle, Jodi Weber, Jake (Sue) Miller, and Danny (Lisa) Miller; and a host of great-nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends.
Chad’s dad and his brother Dennis all died before him.
