The State College Police Department says that the event happened in the 200 block of East Park Avenue on Tuesday night around 8 p.m. Lovisa was running on the sidewalk when a car suddenly veered into the other lane and hit her. Lovisa was taken to the Mount Nittany Medical Center and then the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Altoona after the accident.
