Reese Erin Barker was killed when two cars crashed head-on around 11:50 a.m. on Highway 152, near the 8000 block. The Tennessee Highway Patrol, the Alamo Fire Department, the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department, the Crockett County Rescue Squad, and the Crockett County Ambulance Service all responded quickly to the accident.
When police arrived, they saw that one of the cars was in a ditch and the other was still on the road. The Crockett County Medical Examiner’s Office said that Reese Erin Barker, who was the only person in the car in the ditch, had died.

The car that stayed on the road had three people in it. Two of the people were taken to Jackson Madison County General Hospital for medical care, and the driver was rushed to a comprehensive trauma center in Memphis, Tennessee.
