To play a video in your Zoom meeting, join the meeting and then open the video you want to share in another app or internet tab. Click the Share Screen button at the bottom of the Zoom meeting, and then click your video in the list. Check the box next to “Share computer sound” so that everyone can hear the video, and choose “Optimize Screen Sharing for Video Clip” for the best watching experience. Click the blue Share button when you’re ready to start playing the movie in your meeting. When you’re done sharing, you can click the Stop Share button at the top of Zoom.

2: Play the movie in a different program or browser window: For example, if you want to share a video you downloaded to your computer, you can double-click the video file to open it in the usual video player, such as Windows Media Player or Quicktime.
You don’t have to play the movie yet. If it starts playing on its own, press the pause button.
3: In your Zoom meeting, click Share Screen. At the bottom of the window is a green button.
4. Click the box next to “Optimize screen sharing for video clip.”When you click this box, the box next to “Share computer sound” also gets checked. This makes sure that the video sound can be heard by your audience.
5. Click the window or app that your movie is in. You’ll see all the screens you can share, including your Zoom screen and any tabs or windows you have open in a web browser, like YouTube. From the small preview image, you’ll be able to tell which one has your movie.
6 Click Share. Once you share the chosen screen, everyone in the Zoom meeting will be able to see what you chose.
For example, if you chose a YouTube page in the last step, the YouTube page will be shown in your web browser to everyone else in the Zoom meeting. You can make a YouTube movie full screen by clicking the full-screen icon in the bottom right corner.
If you stopped watching the movie before, you can go back to it now and click Play to start it.
Click Stop Sharing at the top of your screen to stop sharing.
