We’re on the brink of the highly anticipated Pixel 8 and 8 Pro unveiling, and leaks are flooding in with a wealth of information ahead of the official event. The latest leak reveals potential pricing details, and now Android Headlines has delivered the inside scoop on the spec sheets for both phones, which have surfaced online.
Spec sheets for Pixel 8 and 8 Pro leaked online
The leak comes courtesy of Arsène Lupin on X (formerly Twitter), who has shared two images today containing the specifications of the upcoming Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. While some of this information isn’t entirely new, it serves as a supplementary source of details about Google’s upcoming premium smartphones.

Now, let’s delve into what these leaked spec sheets reveal.
The Pixel 8 is set to feature a 6.2-inch FullHD+ screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080, which is fairly standard for a premium phone. On the other hand, the Pixel 8 Pro will sport a larger 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 2992 x 1344. Both screens will be OLED, promising vibrant colors and deep blacks, and both phones will support a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
We already know that both phones will be powered by the Tensor G3, Google’s custom chip, thanks to earlier leaks. The specifications here align with those previous reports. The Pixel 8 will come with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB. Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 Pro steps up to 12GB of RAM and the same storage choices. Earlier leaks hinted at more storage options for the Pro model, but we’ll have to wait for the official confirmation to be certain.
In terms of battery capacity, the Pixel 8 is equipped with a 4,575mAh battery, while the Pixel 8 Pro boasts a larger 5,050mAh battery. According to the listings, it’s estimated to take approximately 30 minutes to reach a 50% charge and around 100 minutes for a full charge, which is decent but not exceptionally fast.
Although the listings don’t provide exhaustive camera details, most of this information has already been leaked (including purported photos of the 8 and 8 Pro). The Pixel 8 is reported to feature a 50MP main camera alongside a 12MP ultrawide shooter. Meanwhile, the Pro model will sport a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP telephoto camera with 4.5x optical zoom. Both phones will include 10.5MP selfie cameras.
Additionally, we now have dimensions for each phone:
- Pixel 8: 5.92 x 2.79 x 0.35 inches (150.4 x 71 x 8.9mm) and a weight of 6.59 ounces (187 grams).
- Pixel 8 Pro: 6.4 x 3.01 x 0.34 inches (162.6 x 76.5 x 8.6mm) and a weight of 7.51 ounces (213 grams).
Other notable details include the presence of Bluetooth 5.3 and Android 14 pre-installed on these devices. With just around six hours left before the official event kicks off, it leaves us wondering what surprises Google may still have in store for us.
