Apple iPhone 15 and 15 Plus: What to Expect in Design and Display?

Apple iPhone 15 and 15 Plus- At the “Wanderlust” event on September 12, Apple will show off its new iPhones. Four types are expected: the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Plus, the iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which might also be called the iPhone 15 Ultra. We’ve talked about how cool the Pro versions are, but the normal ones are also getting some cool new features. This might make a lot of people think about getting a better phone.

Design and screen of the iPhone 15

When it comes to style, there are some big changes on the way. When it comes to the back of the phones, both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are likely to look like the iPhone 14 models, with a dual camera setup. There is a report, though, that the back will be made of frosted glass. Usually, only the Pro models had this frosted glass finish, while the regular versions had a glossy finish. The device’s body is said to be made of aluminum, which makes it strong, and the button to turn off sound will be on the left side.

If you look at the front of the phones, you can probably guess that the screen sizes and pixels will be the same as last year. This means that the iPhone 15 is expected to have a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen with a resolution of 2532 1170 pixels. The iPhone 15 Plus, on the other hand, might have a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen with a resolution of 2778 x 1284 pixels. It’s important to note that neither of them are likely to have the 120Hz

ProMotion feature. Instead, they will have screens that run at 60Hz. On the other hand, it is said that Apple will add the Dynamic Island feature to these products.

If you don’t know, Apple’s “Dynamic Island” is a new take on the “notch” design, which was first seen on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Instead of a blank space at the top of the screen, Dynamic Island has a hole in the shape of a pill that can change its size and shape. It’s a touchable part that can show things like incoming calls, alerts, notifications, Face ID authentication, turn-by-turn navigation, settings for playing music, and more.

What’s interesting is that you can tap or long-press on this area to open different features or apps, making it a shortcut for multitasking. Even though Dynamic Island can be used in many ways, it still hides the iPhone’s True Depth front camera and the sensors that make Face ID work.

Showing off

Since they are said to have the Apple A16 Bionic CPU, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus should be at least as powerful as last year’s Pro models. Apple says that the A16 Bionic chip in the iPhone 15 has a CPU that is 7% faster than the A15 Bionic chip in the iPhone 14. It has a base clock speed of 3.46GHz, which is faster than the A15’s 3.23GHz. The AnTuTu V9 score of the A15 is 805,699 points, while the average score for the A16 is 947,554 points. This can give you a better idea of how much growth you can expect.

Performance

So, the next 15 and 15 Plus models are expected to start with the same 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage as the current models. The battery size is another change that is worth noticing. The story says that the iPhone 15 will have a 3,877mAh battery, while the iPhone 15 Plus will have a 4,912mAh battery. Compared to their predecessors, this means that the iPhone 15’s battery size has grown by 18% and that the iPhone 15 Plus’s battery size has grown by 13.6%.

We all know that Apple is finally switching all of its iPhones to use a USB-C port to charge this year. There is a rumor that the brand will include in the box a braided, color-matched USB-C to USB-C cord. This year, you will have to buy a new 5W USB-A port charger if you have an old one.

Camera

The camera will be getting another big update. According to reports, the main camera on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will have a 48-megapixel Sony image sensor with a /1.6 lens. This is a big improvement over the 12-megapixel main camera on the iPhone 14. With more megapixels, images will have a better resolution and more details. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a /2.4 aperture will also be on board. The front camera in the Dynamic Island is likely to have a 12-megapixel sensor with an aperture of /1.9 and auto-focus.

Prices and color choices

The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are likely to cost the same when they come out, unlike the Pro models. This means that the base price for the iPhone 15 will be $799, while the base price for the iPhone 15 Plus will be $899. Leaks say that these devices will come in Cyan, light blue, black, starlight, yellow, and coral pink when they are released.
