Madalyn is survived by a loving family that includes her mother, Margo (Whitman) Trevino; her father, George Minehart, and stepmother, Danielle (Massey) Minehart; her paternal grandfather, Richard Minehart; her maternal grandmother, Kathy (Whitman) Ross; her brother, Gabe Trevino; and her sister, Avery Minehart.

Madalyn’s educational path was marked by excellence. She graduated from Eastside High School in 2015, where she distinguished herself in academics, volleyball, basketball, and softball. Her academic journey continued at Manchester University, where she graduated in 2019 with a major in History and Religious Studies. Notably, she was an active participant in basketball and the campus Peace Studies group. At the time of her untimely passing, she was pursuing a Masters of Divinity at Bethel Seminary in Richmond.

Visitation to celebrate Madalyn’s life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, located at 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. Following the visitation, funeral services will commence at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Kurt Borgmann of the Manchester Church of the Brethren officiating.

In lieu of floral tributes, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the National Eating Disorders Association (www.nationaleatingdisorders.org) or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (www.afsp.org).
